Miss New Hampshire is right around the corner!

I am so thankful for all of the opportunities that the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program gives to young women. This weekend we kicked off the season with the Miss New Hampshire Bootcamp! Preliminaries are April 30 and May 1 ($10), and finals are May 2 ($35). Tickets are still available at www.missnh.org! ‪#‎mnh‬

A new study came out about what makes students THRIVE in college! Check it out!

The Association for University and College Counseling Center Directors (AUCCCD) and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) created the CU Thrive (Colleges and Universities Thrive), a program to help students navigate their college experiences!

The Week in Review

Today is National Pancake Day at IHOP! IHOP generously gave free short stacks of pancakes to customers in return for donations to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Children's Hospital Boston. Thank you to IHOP for helping the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals raise an incredible amount of money year after year!

Today was also the University of New Hampshire Career and Internship Fair! I had a blast working at the event with the UNH Career Center. Thank you to all of the employers who came to Wildcat Country in order to help college students create their careers!

I had the MOST wonderdtime visiting the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Manchester! We had a very productive evening discussing scholarship and career strategies!

The residents are all moved in for the second semester here at Scott Hall! Our educational block for this month is career education! How fitting!

One of my FAVORITE parts about being a Miss New Hampshire titleholder is the opportunity to attend events sponsored by the Miss New Hampshire and Miss New Hampshire's Outstanding Teen Organization! 

It was so much fun to see all of the Outstanding Teens and fellow Miss Sisters at the tea party yesterday! To the Teens: you are all such an incredible group of young women and I am so amazed by you whenever I see you. You all handle yourselves with grace and class.
