Whew. What an amazing week. 

That's a wrap! On March 2, I had a great time serving as the Volunteer Coordinator for the UNH Career Fair. Congratulations to all of the students who made the commitment to network with future employers! Also, shout out to Megan from the UNH Career Center for all of your help!

Also, I am beyond thankful to be accepted into Columbia University today. Thank you to my family, friends, colleagues, and professors for raising me up to where I am today. I am forever grateful.

Yesterday, we had our "Miss New Hampshire Bootcamp." Thank you to our guest speaker, Michelle Dwyer, for teaching us the importance of both personal and professional goals. Also, thank you to Holly and the Miss New Hampshire board for ensuring that one of us will be ready to serve as Miss New Hampshire. Whoever she is will have very big shoes to fill! I am so lucky to be a part of a cohort of such intelligent, driven, and thoughtful women. 

Today, we had our first rehearsal! Thank you to Heidi and the dancers for helping us learn such a fun and upbeat opening number!

I had an absolutely amazing weekend volunteering at the Miss New Hampshire's Outstanding Teen pageant this past weekend. Welcome to the sisterhood, Teghan Elizabeth! I could not be more excited to welcome a young woman with so much depth and passion into our family. I love you, and I cannot even tell you how excited I am to see what you accomplish throughout this year.

Welcome back, Wildcats! Today the rest of our 520 PERFECT residents moved in to Christensen Castle. 

The Resident Assistants also participated in different trainings for career development programs! Hall Director Jason even took "LinkedIn" head shots for students. 

This is also my LAST semester of my undergraduate career. The real world is approaching quickly.

Tea anyone? Today, Skylar and I served tea at the Miss New Hampshire's Outstanding Teen Tea Party to raise money for the ‪#‎NHOT‬ program! ‪#‎MNH‬‪#‎missportsmoutharea‬

I always enjoy chatting with Allie Nault, Miss America's Outstanding Teen. In my opinion, the best conversations occur when conversationalists learn from each other. I must say I always learn something new from Miss Nault.  Today we talked about our experiences meeting candidates on the campaign trail in New Hampshire (she has met every single candidate, and will one day rule the world). Last week, I had the opportunity to speak to third graders about how it is never to early to start reaching higher! Thank you to to the third graders of Bow Elementary School for welcoming me! I was so impressed by your leadership skills! ‪#‎reachhigher‬ ‪#‎mnh‬‪#‎missportsmoutharea‬ ‪#‎service‬ ‪#‎MissAmerica‬

Go team! Yesterday, it was great to get to know some talented hockey players from around New England today before holding the flag at the Monarchs game!‪#‎MNH‬ ‪#‎missportsmoutharea‬ ‪#‎manchestermonarchs‬ We also sold raffle tickets for a jersey and a chance to meet the players, which benefited the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program.

Kat and I were lucky enough to sneak this shot with the Red Sox 2004 World Series trophy! 

Today, we had the opportunity to speak with Secretary Clinton at a Town Hall. After being called for a question, I asked Secretary Clinton how she would balance providing opportunities and services for under privileged children to help equalize opportunities while encouraging them to grow into independent people. She stated that it is not only important for children to be provided with services , but it is also imperative that families are also encouraged to foster the growth of their children. She continued to lay out a detailed plan to help equalize opportunities for children and encourage their successes. ‪#‎MNH ‬‪#‎firstprimary‬
