~The Week in Review~

First of all, HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY!

My family's first real Saint Patrick's Day was two years ago! Until we delved extensively into familial research, we thought we were about 100% Welsh. My father's side is also Welsh (this is confirmed). The community that my family immigrated to was a predominantly Welsh community. During a time period where many Irish people were shunned from society, my family crafted their identities to exude "Welshness," so much so that my family wore orange on Saint Patrick's Day!
Well, this little Irish girl is now one proud lassie on Saint Patrick's Day!
Fun fact: If you are a student at a university, chances are you have a subscription to http://www.ancestry.com/ as a part of your school's data base collection. So check out your history!

‪#‎NationalPancakeDay‬ was on Tuesday, March 8!  In lieu of what customers would pay for pancakes, they made a donation to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals!

Thank you to Tyler Sinclair for making me feel fabulous! Your friendship means so much to me! ‪#‎sponsorspotlight‬ ‪#‎missnewhampshire‬ ‪#‎style‬‪ #‎hairbysinclair‬

Also, this year's election is one that we will absolutely be teaching future generations about. This article answered many of my questions, and I am sure it will be a great help to anyone who is confused about the process! I needed some clarification, too! Click on the link below for some clarification!
Confession: Although I am taught as a History Major to sometimes question Wikipedia, this is the most comprehensive article I could find! Sources are good, I promise!

I hope you chuckle at one of the following pictures.
